Known as the “Coca-Cola” route, the Marangu route is a classic trek on Mount Kilimanjaro. It is the oldest, most well established route. Many favor the Marangu route because it is considered to be the easiest path on the mountain, given its gradual slope. It is also the only route which offers sleeping huts in dormitory style accommodations.

Day 1: Arrival at the Kilimanjaro Airport and transferred to the Moshi Town for overnight
You are pick up upon arrival at the Kilimanjaro Airport, Arusha and transferredto Moshi Town nearby for overnight at Leopard Hotel, Moshi. for overnight.Bed and breakfast

Day 2: Transfer from Moshi Town to the Marangu Gate and trek to the Mandara Hut for overnight
Breakfast at Leopard Hotel, Moshi. You are pick up and transferredto the Marangu Gate of the Mount  Kilimanjaro National Park.Start the trek and onto the Mandara Hut (2,743 metres) where you havedinner and overnight. Full board

Day 3: Trek from Mandara to Horombo Hut with overnight
Breakfast. Most of todays trek passes through the forest. Trek on to theHorombo Hut ( 3,759 metres). Dinner and overnight at Horombo Hut. Full board

Day 4: Trek from Horombo to Kibo Hut with overnight
Breakfast. Trek to the Alpine Desert Habitat and onto the Saddle of Mount Kilimanjaro. Your night accommodation is Kibo Hut (4,730 metres) with dinner and overnight. You rest till mid-night. Full board

Day 5: Trek to the Summit of Kilimanjaro and descend to Horombo Hut for overnight
Start the mid-night trek to the Summit of Africa; Uhuru Peak of Mount Kilimanjaro. You trek for 14 hours today. You will trek via Gillman's Point (5,678 metres) and watch the sunrise and onto the Summit; Uhuru Peak (5,895 metres above sea level) ; a memorable experience, take some photos. Start the descent and return to Kibo Hut for breakfast and some rest. Continue the descent to Horombo Hut in time for dinner and overnight. Full board

Day 6: Trek to Marangu Gate and are transferred to Moshi, Moshi for overnight
Breakfast. Trek to the Mandara Gate of Mount Kilimanjaro and link up with your transfer vehicle to the Leopard Hotel, Moshi for check in. Spend the rest of the afternoon on leisure at the Hotel. Overnight at the Leopard Hotel, Moshi. Half board

Day 7: Transfer from Moshi to Kilimanjaro Airport & depart
